Nací en Argentina, donde siempre fui Laura. Me mudé a Australia y ahí empezaron a decirme Maria. Ahora vivo en Italia y me dicen Luna. Me gustan los tres nombres —todos forman parte de mí.
I am Maria Laura Luna; I live in Milan, Italy. Currently, I’ve been working alone for four years and now we are a team of four people helping over 10 businesses grow using Pinterest. I work weekly creating the most captivating content while following Pinterest’s latest Best Practices. My work is 100% organic.

Antes de que existiera Pinterest, pasaba horas en internet guardando fotos de moda que me gustaban en cientos de carpetas en mi computadora. Cuando descubrí Pinterest, me registré inmediatamente y esperé con paciencia mi invitación para acceder a la plataforma en su fase Beta.
Me enamoré de Pinterest desde el primer día. Empecé a crear Pines para marcas porque quería tener tableros lindos y curados.
En 2015, mientras estudiaba 'Marketing y Comunicación de Moda' descubrí que Pinterest tenía una versión para negocios y me abrí una cuenta con un blog. Aprendí sobre la marcha: mirando analíticas, leyendo, probando qué funcionaba y qué no. Cuando el trabajo creció, hice varios cursos especializados, pero siempre me consideré autodidacta. Y eso me sirvió muchísimo —a mí y a mis clientas— porque es lo que más funciona en cada caso y momento en particular.
En octubre de 2015 conseguí mi primer cliente de Pinterest: una página de moda que necesitaba tableros con contenido súper curado, alineado a su identidad visual. En 2016 llegaron más clientas y eso me llevó a dejar mi trabajo full-time para mudarme a Australia “a trabajar en el campo” (ese era el plan, al menos). Pero por suerte no hizo falta: mi base de clientas en Pinterest no paró de crecer y pude mantenerme allá haciendo lo que sería mi trabajo soñado.
La principal fuente de clientes para mí es y siempre han sido las referencias: clientes que están contentos con mi trabajo y me recomiendan, o personas que le preguntan a mis clientes por su Pinterest manager.
